ABOUT THE PROJECT

Reinventing Social Security: Stradcom’s Smart ID Initiative

Stradcom Corporation partnered with the Philippine Government’s Social Security System (SSS) in a USD 42 million joint venture with AllCard Corporation to deliver 12 million multi-purpose, contactless smart cards.

These cards use advanced chip technology to store member data and enable faster, online, real-time transactions through fingerprint and facial biometrics.

The system integrates the databases of three major government agencies that provide housing and health loan facilities, ensuring greater efficiency and accessibility for members.

Beyond identification and records management, the platform is designed to support future payment applications, positioning it as a key step toward digital public services in the Philippines.
