ABOUT THE PROJECT

GRMC: A Modern Solution to Guam’s Growing Healthcare Needs

The Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) is a tertiary-level, 130-bed acute-care private hospital located in Tumon Bay, Dededo, Guam. It spans 265,000 square feet and has a total project cost of USD 219 million.

The hospital was built to address the severe shortage of hospital beds on the island and the fact that approximately 70% of local healthcare needs were being managed off-island. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to be future-ready, using advanced technological systems to provide high-quality care.

The project is owned by Guam Healthcare Development, Inc. (GHDI), which is composed of PSI Healthcare Development Services Corp. (PSIH) and Strategic Asia-Pacific Partners, Inc. (SAPPI). PSIH is a world-class organization with extensive experience in hospital operations and is the same system that manages The Medical City (TMC) group of hospitals in the Philippines, accredited by the highly respected Joint Commission International (JCI). SAPPI is the Guam-registered subsidiary of Strategic Alliance Holdings, Inc. (SAHI), a Philippine company with strong experience in large-scale information technology integration.
