Food Corporation’s product line reflects its commitment to innovation, quality, and local heritage. Its pioneering brand, O-Krantz, introduced vacuum-fried chips and Chunky Tomato Salsa, made with technology designed to preserve freshness, flavor, and nutrients.
Partnering with the Metal Industry Research and Development Center (MIRDC) and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the company has positioned itself at the forefront of food technology in the region.
In 2021, 1Food expanded into local specialties with Bayambang’s Best Longanisa, developed in collaboration with Kasama Kita sa Barangay Foundation Inc. (KKSBFI). This partnership highlights the company’s role in promoting traditional delicacies while ensuring consistent quality and wider distribution.
Beyond packaged goods, 1Food has established Angkong Noodle House (ANH), a fast-growing restaurant brand known for its flavorful offerings and accessible locations. Since opening its first branch in Bayambang, ANH has expanded across Pangasinan with outlets in Dagupan, Binalonan, San Carlos, Metro Plaza, SM Rosales, and Bayambang Centro, with new branches in Urdaneta and other cities set to open in 2025. 1Food also offers catering and events services through ANH, providing a full spectrum of food and dining experiences to its customers.
Timeline and Milestones
- November 2017 – The vision for 1Food was formalized by Hon. Cezar T. Quiambao to prevent agricultural waste and uplift farmers’ livelihoods.
- 2018 – Launch of O-Krantz, the first brand developed in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Food Innovation Center (FIC), and Pangasinan State University (PSU) Bayambang.
- February – March 2019 – Collaboration with DOST/FIC/PSU strengthened, laying the groundwork for commercial scaling.
- June 2019 – 1Food Corporation was officially established.
- September 2019 – Test runs of early products were conducted.
- October 2019 – December 2020 – Phase 1 plant construction and test marketing initiated.
- Early 2021 – Development of Bayambang’s Best Longanisa in partnership with Kasama Kita sa Barangay Foundation Inc. (KKSBFI).
- 2021 – Official launch of Bayambang’s Best products.
- February 2022 – Start of structured sales operations with a dedicated sales team.
- July 25, 2022 – Opening of Angkong Noodle House (ANH) at Prayer Park, Bayambang.
- February 2023 – Transfer of office and production facilities to the Prayer Park Commissary in Bayambang.
- April 2024 – Opening of an extension office in Bani, Bayambang (Arenas Building).
- 2025 (Ongoing) – Expansion of Angkong Noodle House with branches across Pangasinan, targeting 10 branches by year-end. Future growth plans include expansion to Region I, Region III, Metro Manila, and the Asia-Pacific market.
