1Food Corporation was born out of a vision to transform agricultural opportunities into sustainable livelihoods. In November 2017, Hon. Cezar T. Quiambao laid the groundwork for what would become a pioneering food enterprise in Bayambang, Pangasinan. His goal was clear: to prevent wastage, help farmers improve their incomes, and create lasting opportunities for the community.
This vision materialized in 2018 with the birth of O-Krantz, a brand that introduced innovative food technology in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the Food Innovation Center (FIC), and Pangasinan State University (PSU) Bayambang.
The company’s formal establishment came in June 2019, marking the start of a journey defined by both innovation and community-driven growth. After initial test runs in late 2019, 1Food began constructing its production plant and launched its first phase of test marketing. By early 2021, the company was tapped to develop the formulation of Bayambang’s Best Longanisa, produced in partnership with Kasama Kita sa Barangay Foundation Inc. (KKSBFI). This milestone positioned 1Food as both a product innovator and a trusted distributor of local delicacies. Expansion continued with the launch of “Bayambang’s Best” in 2021 and the establishment of its main commissary and production facility at Prayer Park, Bayambang in 2023. An extension office in Bani, Bayambang followed in April 2024, further strengthening its operational base.
Under the leadership of Chairman Cezar T. Quiambao, President Jorge M. Yulo, and SVP–General Manager Esther Flor A. Baldemor, 1Food benefits from extensive local and global business expertise. Mr. Yulo brings visionary leadership and international commercial experience, while Ms. Baldemor contributes her background in FMCG brand and product management in multinational settings. Together with a dedicated management team overseeing restaurant operations, catering, commissary, marketing, and business development, the company continues to expand its footprint across the food and hospitality industry.
1Food’s portfolio includes a growing line of innovative products such as Okrantz Chips and Okrantz Chunky Tomato Salsa, which are processed using advanced vacuum frying technology developed with the Metal Industry Research and Development Center. In addition, the company manages the distribution of Bayambang’s Best Longanisa, solidifying its reputation for quality and authenticity. Beyond packaged goods, 1Food has also ventured into restaurant operations through Angkong Noodle House (ANH). Since its first branch at Prayer Park in Bayambang, ANH has expanded to locations in Dagupan, Binalonan, San Carlos, Metro Plaza, SM Rosales, and Bayambang Centro, with new branches scheduled to open in Urdaneta and beyond. The company’s target is to operate 10 branches by the end of 2025.
Looking ahead, 1Food Corporation aims to expand its market beyond Pangasinan into Regions I and III, Metro Manila, and eventually across the Asia-Pacific region.
